Each ratio compares two opposing borders: left ÷ (left + right) × 100, and top ÷ (top + bottom) × 100. A 50/50 ratio means those borders are equal. Centering alone does not predict a grade.

How do I take a good photo?
Lay the card flat and photograph it straight-on in even lighting. Keep all four edges visible. Avoid glare, blur, and sleeves obscuring the edges. Mark the card itself, not the holder. Perspective correction cannot fix a bent card or lens distortion. Retake extreme-angle or blurry photos.
Where should I place the guides?
Put the gold outer guides on the physical edges of the card. Put the mint inner guides on the corresponding printed border. At rounded corners, use the imaginary intersection of the straight edges. Zoom in and use the precision controls for small adjustments.
Does this predict my card’s grade?
No. This compares centering only with PSA’s approximate PSA 10 guidelines: 55/45 front and 75/25 back. Corners, edges, surface, and the grader’s assessment also matter. Both axes must meet the selected guideline. Read PSA’s official standards ↗. Reference checked September 16, 2026.
Which cards can I measure?
The photo straightening format is for standard Pokémon cards (63:88). Equal opposing borders must be intended by the design. Borderless or deliberately asymmetric cards need a design-specific reference, so this tool does not assess them using standard guides.
